In Slovenj Gradec, we have built a single-family house: the wooden MODEKO modular house. It is actually the first prototype of a wooden modular living space unit that was created in cooperation with the Pillar office and the Slovenia Technology Agency. The individual modular units are connected to horizontal strings or vertical stacks. At a later stage, additional units can be added or obsolete units removed. The house distinguishes itself by its modern architecture and low energy consumption as well as its environmental friendliness. This is also helped by the uncoated larch façade that is already getting some grey patina.
