The fact that the Swiss have entrusted the construction of their homes to us at Riko Hiše can be attributed to our top quality wood construction systems and our excellent references. We have built most wooden houses in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, where the tradition of constructing in wood is as widespread as in neighbouring Austria and Germany. In this part of Switzerland, our RIKO LESENA certified construction system based on glued solid wood boards is most successful, while in the South of the country our RIKO PLUS light-frame construction has proven more popular.
At the moment, we are building a wooden house in Geneva. Next month, construction works on a Riko wooden house will begin in Lugano. After the Lugano trade fair, we have noticed an increase in demand from Switzerland, and we are confident to be able to consolidate our position in the Swiss market.
Great feedback from the Artecasa trade fair in Lugano
Last week Italy’s largest trade fair for architecture Made Expo took place in Milan attracting more than 250 thousand visitors from all over Europe. Because there is much demand in Italy for our products, we have also presented our wood construction system to Italian investors, developers, architects and the interested public. The wooden presentation room, the photos of reference projects and the announcement of the D.E.A.R.S. house by Starck with Riko have aroused much interest among the visitors of the trade fair.
