Italian art, architecture, fashion, gastronomy and design are proof of the fact that the Italians enjoy top performances achieved when perfect aesthetics blend with creative concepts and great executions. And they are sure to find joyful living spaces in our houses. As the Italians are also ecologically oriented, we at Riko Hiše have been present in the Italian market for a number of years. We have constructed several public building in Italy, e.g. the wooden extension to the MIB School of Management in Trieste and the wooden Stella Tetra Pak kindergarten, but also residential houses –ranging from holiday homes to multi-family houses. It was also in Italy that one of our houses proved to be earthquake-resistant: It was one of the few houses in the village of Scoppito which survived the devastating 5.6 Richter scale earthquake.
Much interest in Italy
On 30 September 2011, Trieste will become the regional centre for the popularization of wooden constructions which are experiencing a revival on an international level. Welcome to the international Wood in the City conference confronting the opinions, experience and knowledge of renowned experts, architects and designers!
