House with Pannonian views

House with Pannonian views

Through its large glass surfaces, the house opens towards southeast and seeks an architectural dialogue with the landscape. Because of a horizontal emphasis in the design of the larch wood façade, the house also excellently fits the horizontal waving atmosphere of the legendary Prekmurje plains. Once it becomes silvery – because its owners love natural esthetics – it will merge with the melancholic notes of the surrounding landscape, the Prekmurje plains.

The owners want a healthy, natural and also technologically well-equipped home, and they followed this guiding principle throughout its construction. The house will be heated with a heat pump and ventilated with a recuperator. It has floor heating, a central suction system and intelligent installations. Its future residents will also be able to control it via their mobile phones.

Riko Hiše is pleased that it can offer its knowledge and experience, as well as ideas and inspirations to all those who trust us. Because we have built various wooden buildings all across , the list of our references is full of the most varied technological and design solutions. While conceptualising their house, the owners of the Murska Sobota house flirted with houses which were designed for known investors by Yoo Studio, Philippe Starck and Jade Jagger and were produced and erected by the staff of Riko Hiše, perhaps also because their form so synchronously fits the Prekmurje landscape. The owners communicated their expectations to the architect, and together they succeeded in designing an original paraphrase of the residences of some famous Englishmen.
