In Italy also during ‘Ferragosto’

Did you know that trees have the ability to trap large amounts of CO2 and store it in the form of wood? One tree can store from 10 to 25 tons of carbon in its life time! If a non-renewable building material (concrete, brick) is replaced with wood, a further ton of CO2 can be saved.
With its unique qualities, wood will create a pleasant feeling in your home. Its qualities as a building material are fascinating because it allows for a high degree of prefabrication, rapid installation on site and immediate occupation because it does not require a drying time. Moreover, its resistance against both earthquakes and fire is excellent. A special added value of wood is the fact that it maintains the quality of a living organism even after tree felling. It has a pleasantly fresh smell and is also capable of absorbing unpleasant odours.
We have no doubts that these were the characteristics that convinced our Italian customer from Pescara to opt for Riko’s solid wood construction system – the Riko LMS system. The assembly of the two storey wooden house with a rendered facade and four pitched roof began last week. The owners will be able to move in in mid fall of this year.
