Lectures are already taking place in a wooden lecture room

The
MIB of Trieste is considered a reputable business school that is
well-known across Italy and in the broader region for its
international atmosphere, good references and close links to the
business world. The school has its premises in one of the most
beautiful historic Trieste buildings, the Palazzo Ferdinandeo.

Due
to increasing spatial constraints, the school’s management had
decided to enlarge it in spite of the limited possibilities for its
expansion within the existing historic building. Due to the
sustainable orientation of the Riko Hiše company and our patented
construction system, which is always flexible and quick, we were
selected to build the new addition.

The
historic specificities of the building represented a challenge for
the architects, who tried to amalgamate the traditional architectural
mood with modern wooden construction. The construction was quick and
it did not impede the regular pedagogic process in any way; it also
did not disturb the nearby residents.
