Due to a lack of space, the well-established MIB School of Management needed additional lecture rooms. As the original building is located in the city centre, the possibilities for extension were limited. The required lecture rooms needed to be built as soon as possible with as little disturbance to the pedagogical process. The answer was found in the low-energy RIKO building with solid timber walls and a larch wood façade.
