Their
decision to use Riko’smassive wooden construction system for their new home was thus not
difficult and soon they entrusted us with its construction.
The
house has a modern design and a dynamic
spatial organisation, while its large glass surfaces emphasise a
special dialogue with the surrounding garden. Its picturesqueness is
accentuated by several different facades: from classical plaster and
fibre cement panels to two types of wooden facades: red painted
spruce with larch cladding that also closes all of the eaves.
At
the beginning of March, all work was completed and the house was
handed over to interior designers.
The snow in the area has already melted and the house now looks
resplendent amidst the awakening nature in the spring.
