The estate Les Bordes is located 140 km south of Paris in the Loire valley. The 750 ha large estate was designed by Baron Marcel Bich, founder of the company and brand BIC, which is known for its ballpoint pens and razors. The golf estate is considered one of the best in Europe as it unites the highest standards of golf courses and exceptional natural features. The golf course is equipped with the already existing infrastructure – in addition to golf, there are also club rooms, a restaurant, a shop and a mansion from the 19th century with existing forty apartments. The ambition of the new owners is to supplement the existing complex with new accommodation options, as well as to offer its users the luxury golf experience. Riko has been entrusted with the construction of the first three wooden villas designed by the architectural studio Anderson & Orr.
