Location: Surroundings of Augsburg, Germany
In a forest clearing near Augsburg, a single family house with imaginative design has been built. At the core of this house is a heater, i.e. a stove placed in the centre of the open two-floor room with a gallery. Large glass surfaces framing the rooms allow for illumination by natural light. The house is divided into two thematic parts connected by a pergola roofed terrace. The façade is entirely built of larch wood.
