SLOVENIA The ‘Polanc’ House

SLOVENIA The ‘Polanc’ House

With respect for the traditional local use of stone as the primary building material, this single floor wooden house in Nova Gorica shows that wood is a suitable material for construction even in the areas where this kind of construction has not yet been fully adopted. The owners of the 150m2 house with garage chose the skeletal system Riko plus 240 with an insulation of cellulose fibers and flakes. The well thought out layout of the house, the low energy design and execution and the use of natural materials provide comfortable living conditions and good energy efficiency.
Visiting hours are every day at 10AM and 5PM.
